Death Valley National Park is the hottest, driest, and lowest of the National Parks. The park offers a unique ecosystem quite unlike what most of us have seen before. Most of the park resides at 282 feet below sea level. Yet the park also has tall, snow-crested peaks. Most of the park is an extremely dry, harsh desertscape, yet the park’s many oases offer a peaceful and verdant reprieve from the sun- scorched land. Styled after the WPA-commissioned artwork of the early-1900s, this Anderson Design Group art piece presents the driest National Park in a wistful array of color and illustration only seen in vintage art.
