Did you know that Death Valley National Park is the hottest place on Earth? It’s true! The park straddles eastern California and Nevada, one of the largest parks in the United States. Death Valley is also known for Titus Canyon, as well as a ghost town, colorful rocks, and Badwater Basin’s salt flats, (North America's lowest point). Looking upwards, Telescope Peak Trail weaves past beautiful and ancient pine trees. North of the spiky salt mounds known as the Devil’s Golf Course, rattlesnakes live in Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. As the hottest, driest and lowest National Park in the U.S., Death Valley is absolutely a land of extremes. The average temperature is 108.1⁰F including overnight lows. Daytime highs reached a temperature of 127⁰F for four days in a row! Inspired by the extreme nature of the park, our poster artists traveled to the park, came back, and set to work creating handcrafted vintage designs of the park. These are available as posters, prints, banners, notecards, postcards, or metal signs.
