The history of the American National Parks goes back over a century, long before automobiles and airplanes were the most convenient form of travel to and from the parks. In fact, railroads used to be the easiest way for travelers to visit these stunning natural wonders that would soon be called National Parks. The Grand Canyon Railway in particular is a heritage railroad which carries passengers between Williams, Arizona and the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. The 64-mile railroad, built by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway, was completed on September 17, 1901. And yes, it continues to offer daily rail service to the Grand Canyon! Anderson Design Group has rendered this classic American Travel poster design, a vintage travel poster, in the tradition of the Golden Age of Poster Art. This retro-styled rendering will look great as an art print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas. To learn more about the stunning natural wilderness that is the Grand Canyon and ways you can help protect it, check out the website for the Grand Canyon Conservancy.
