The most-visited National Park in the United States, Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a panoply of natural wonder that for years has inspired us to create vintage poster art of the park. We’ve rendered dozens of original illustrations and National Park art of the region, doing our best to honor the tradition of vintage illustrations and poster designs in our Great Smoky Mountains National Park art. For this particular design, Anderson Design Group was proud to collaborate with master pastel artist Arden von Haeger on this piece and a special series of original illustrated travel posters. Arden's classic hand-rendered illustration style conveys grandeur, romance, and nuance. His inventive use of color and his unique Art Deco styling deliver a delightful new take on some of America's most iconic destinations.
