Great Smoky Mountains National Park: Wildflower Heaven By Joel Anderson, 2017
- Great Smoky Mountains National Park: Wildflower Heaven
There is a sleepy cadence to the valley floors of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a warm, slumberous sensation that puts visitors in a fuzzy euphoria that only nature can provide. In the spring and summer, the valleys and glens of the Smokies are coated in wildflowers, adding a pleasing aroma to this protected land. Even the wild animals of the park pause to appreciate the beauty of spring, and Joel Anderson brought those warm feelings to life in this hand-illustrated National Parks poster. Inspired by the art styles of the early-20th century, Joel hand-rendered a yearling bear cub snoozing amongst trilliums and golden asters on a sunny afternoon. The artists of Anderson Design Group have made this illustration into a lovely poster design that will look great as an art print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas.
