Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park protects and preserves two active volcanoes, Kīlauea and Mauna Loa, located on the island of Hawai’i, the largest of the Hawaiian Islands. Thanks to the volcanoes, the islands are growing, evidenced in this national parks poster with lava flow entering the sea, cooling, hardening, and adding to the landmass of the island! Visitors to the island can watch slow rivers of lava as they flow from the volcano. Anderson Design Group was proud to collaborate with master pastel artist Arden von Haeger to create this special illustrated poster design. Arden's classic hand-rendered illustration style conveys grandeur, romance, and nuance.
