Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park: Night Glow By Kenneth Crane, Joel Anderson, 2020
- Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park: Night Glow
American National Parks come in all shapes and sizes, with some parks offering incredible experiences found nowhere else on Earth. Case in point, Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park allows visitors to get up close and personal with active volcanoes! This park offers two active volcanoes, Kīlauea and Mauna Loa. The park is found on the island of Hawai'i, the largest of the many Hawaiian Islands. Visitors are able to get close to active lava flow, but not too close, and only when it is absolutely safe to observe the lava flow. The incredible feature of the Hawaiian Islands is that these islands are growing because of the active lava flow! Inspired by that fact, ADG poster artist Kenneth Crane hand-rendered his own depiction of an active lava flow on the island. Available as a poster, print, banner, canvas, notecard, postcard, or metal sign, this artwork would look stunning on any wall.
