Kings Canyon National Park is famous for its Big Horn sheep, stunning vertical peaks, and ancient forest-filled valleys. The reason why the mountain ranges in Kings Canyon are so steep is because this region was carved by a massive glacier passing through thousands of years ago, cutting a huge swath through the hardened granite.
