As if swamp country wasn't already spooky enough as it is, the Lizard Man of Congaree National Park just took the swamps and marshes of South Carolina to a whole new level of spookiness! Lizard Man calls the swamps surrounding Bishopville, South Carolina his home, but reports of the creature have come in from across South Carolina, including Congaree National Park. Blazing red eyes, green scaly skin, long claws protruding from three fingers on each hand, 7ft tall and resembling a reptilian humanoid, Lizard Man is frightening indeed! And while the creature never attacked a human, throughout the summer of 1988 the people of Bishopville submitted numerous reports of mysterious vandalism to their automobiles. And every time a car was damaged, police would find large, three-toed footprints nearby. Excited by the idea of a reptilian creature prowling the swamplands of Congaree, Anderson Design Group poster artists rendered a vintage poster illustration of Lizard Man, an original depiction of what this creature might look like. This artwork would make an excellent wall decor item or gift, available as a poster, print, canvas, metal sign, mini-canvas, notecard, or postcard.
