Manhattan is a city in Kansas, on the Kansas and Big Blue rivers. The Flint Hills Discovery Center offers multimedia exhibits on the region’s prairie ecosystem. Sunset Zoo has cheetahs, leopards and anteaters, plus a butterfly garden. Just north of the city, Tuttle Creek State Park encompasses Tuttle Creek Reservoir, horse trails and a shooting range. South, trails run through Konza Prairie, home to bison. Manhattan is home to Kansas State University (KSU, Kansas State, or K-State) a thriving university. (Go Wildcats!) It was opened as the state's land-grant college in 1863 and was the first public institution of higher learning in the state of Kansas. The artists of Anderson Design Group love to celebrate American college towns via "vintage" poster art. This original hand-rendered art design will look great as an unframed print, framed illustration, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas. Available in multiple size options, this whimsical travel art was fashioned in the style of 20th-century vintage art and the iconic retro travel art.
