- American Hiking Trails: Oregon Coast Trail
The Oregon Coast Trail is a long-distance hiking route along the Pacific coast of the U.S. state of Oregon. It follows the coast of Oregon from the mouth of the Columbia River to the California border south of Brookings. The majesty of Oregon's 362-mile coastline unfolds around every bend along this iconic trail, also known as the OCT. Hikers cross sandy beaches, meander through forest-shaded corridors, traverse majestic headlands and pass through 28 coastal towns. Most of the route is on the beach, although some segments wind through state parks or public lands. Generous landowners provide trail easements for portions of trail on private property. About 10 percent of the trail is on the shoulders of U.S. 101, county roads and city streets. Now available as a poster print, canvas, metal sign, mini-canvas, notecard, or postcard, this original vintage-style illustration will look great in any room and on any wall. Styled after the vintage poster art and travel art of the mid-20th century, this artwork is the perfect gift for anyone who’s enjoyed hiking the Oregon Coast Trail.
