Florida: Sandpipers By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson, 2021
- Florida: Sandpipers
A bird that's considered to be an iconic staple resident of Florida’s sandy shores, sandpipers are delightful to watch scurrying around on the beach. They often run in little lines in and out of the surf, foraging for buried shells and other tasty delicacies. There are many species called sandpipers, as well as those called by names such as curlew and snipe. However, all of these birds have a distinctive look and chirp, and while they do fly, they can also run across the shore and in the surf very quickly, often choosing to scamper along in search of food rather than taking flight. Fascinated by these unique birds, the artists of Anderson Design Group created this classic design in the tradition of the Golden Age of Poster Art. This retro-styled artwork will look great as an art print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini-canvas.
