Grand Island, Michigan By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson, 2020
- Grand Island, Michigan
Grand Island, Michigan is a beautiful, scenic island in Lake Superior just a short ferry-ride from the town of Munising. Visitors to the island ride bicycles along groomed trails, camp, or simply walk along the island’s pristine beaches. Visitors should be sure to plan ahead though! Due to the island’s popularity and efforts to conserve and preserve this gift of nature, the Forest Service only allows 10,000 visitors each year. Inspired by the island and the historic, 1850s-era lighthouse that still stands on its shores to this day, Anderson Design Group’s artists hand-rendered a vintage travel poster of the island during autumn, an incredible display of color and fall splendor. Available as a retro poster, art print, canvas banner, notecard, postcard, or metal sign, this artwork would make for a fantastic centerpiece or conversation starter. To learn more about the island or to plan a trip there, be sure to visit the website for the USDA Forest Service.
