Washington, DC: Cherry Blossoms By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson, 2014
- Washington, DC: Cherry Blossoms
Did you know that the cherry trees which line the Tidal Basin in West Potomac Park were a gift from the mayor of Tokyo in 1912? Tended to and cared for to this day, these cherry trees always amaze visitors when they blossom into full color in the late spring. Seeking to capture the beauty and the artistic nature of cherry blossoms in full array, Anderson Design Group hand-created a vintage travel poster of the blossoms, the Basin, and the Washington Monument in the background. You can order this retro-styled artwork as a framed print, canvas banner, framed postcard, metal sign, or as a set of notecards or postcards.
