What better way to enjoy Seattle than from the top of the Space Needle, Seattle’s most recognized landmark? The Space Needle was created in honor of the World’s Fair in 1962. The tower rises 605 feet from the streets of Seattle. The observation deck offers excellent, 360-degree views of the region. The Space Needle started as an art project, a feat of engineering and architecture, and a fun endeavor for Seattle. Now it is a city-wide icon. Inspired by the artistic design of the Needle, Anderson Design Group’s own Kai Carpenter fashioned a vintage travel poster of the needle, an oil painting styled after mid-century renditions of retro travel poster art.
