Are they creatures from another world? Or subterranean dwellers rising up from Kentucky's more than 130 known caves? From a 1955 encounter on the Sutton farm where the Sutton family and several neighbors bore witness to nightly attacks by dozens of "little green men" to more recent sightings of goblin-like creatures, what are the Kentucky goblins, and why have they chosen this region for their alleged invasion? Some say these creatures are aliens from another world, landing in Kentucky and heckling rural communities. But because sightings often occur near Kentucky's many cave systems (like Mammoth Cave National Park), others speculate the goblins are not extraterrestrial visitors. Rather, they are a humanoid subspecies that evolved over thousands of years in Kentucky's vast and largely unexplored cave systems. With the origin of the creatures still unknown, Anderson Design Group's artists were intrigued and inspired by the mystery of the Kentucky Goblins. This vintage poster art of a Mammoth Cave goblin was brought to life by the stories of the creatures. Available as a poster print, canvas, metal sign, mini-canvas, postcard, or notecard, this original artwork would make an excellent decor piece or the perfect gift for a fan of cryptozoology.
