The Boston Common is famous for being the oldest city park in the United States. It was designated as public land for use by the people of Boston back in 1634. The park consists of 50 acres of land, bounded by five major Boston roadways and thoroughfares. One of the primary visitor centers for the city of Boston is positioned near the edge of the park. The park is the location of several events year round, and it is one of the most-visited sites in Boston. Inspired by the history and aesthetic beauty of the park, Anderson Design Group created an original Joel Anderson illustration of it, handcrafted to represent one of the park’s statues (and of course the famous spring tulips). To learn more about the park and its features, check out the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum.
