When it was first completed (1836) and for decades after, the Arc De Triomphe was the largest arch of its kind in the world. This fantastic structure was built as a tribute and dedication to every French soldier who fought for France. The Arc De Triomphe has been the site of victory marches, funeral processions, speeches, public events, protests, mass gatherings, hostile occupations, memorials, etc. Encouraged by the history and solidarity of the Arc De Triomphe, Anderson Design Group crafted vintage travel poster art of the arch, a fitting depiction of the arch on a misty evening in Paris. This retro artwork is available as a framed print, canvas banner, framed postcard, metal sign or as a set of notecards or postcards.
