Iceland: Reykjavik By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson, 2016
- Iceland: Reykjavik
Iceland, what a country! This island nation is unlike any other, a sizable island in northern Europe with a unique government and culture. The nation’s capital city, Reykjavik, is the northernmost capital city in the world. The capital city is also the only capital in Western Europe with no Starbucks or McDonald’s. Instead, locals and visitors alike feast on Icelandic cuisine, dishes which feature seafood, vegetables, lamb, and other delicacies. Reykjavik is also one of the world’s cleanest cities, and it's the world’s most sustainable city. The city is mostly powered by renewable sources of energy, and it plans to be carbon neutral by 2040. Anderson Design Group crafted a vintage travel poster of the city, a hand-drawn and painted illustration of the city’s capital and the largest church in Iceland.
