Italia: Firenze By Michael Cribbs, Joel Anderson, 2014
- Italia: Firenze
Firenze (Florence in English) is the capital city of the Italian region of Tuscany. This city is surrounded by beautiful hills, each one likely adorned with a villa or farm. Visitors to Firenze can tour the city or wander among vineyards and orchards. Firenze is often considered the birthplace of the Renaissance and has been called the Athens of the Middle Ages, mainly for the significant contributions that the city made to the Renaissance period. In fact, the city was so important during this period that the entire historic district of Florence was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982. Anderson Design Group celebrated the timeless nature of this beautiful city with a vintage travel poster of the city’s historic district.
