Located in southern Africa and sharing a border with the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Zambia and Angola to the north, Botswana to the east, and South Africa to the south and east, Namibia is a country known for its parklands and untouched natural areas. Namibia gained independence from South Africa in 1990, giving the indigenous peoples of Namibia an opportunity to govern themselves. Since independence, the country has made a strong commitment to protecting the parklands, which is why visitors to Namibia can see lions, elephants, giraffes, hippopotamus, cheetahs, rhinos, wildebeest, hyenas, vultures, jackals, ostriches, zebras, and other creatures when traveling to and through Namibia. Inspired by a recently independent nation that’s made such a strong commitment to conservation, Anderson Design Group poster artists rendered a vintage design of a Namibian giraffe at home in one of the country’s parks. Available as a poster, print, banner, notecard, postcard, or metal sign, this artwork makes for the perfect centerpiece or addition to home decor.
