The Isle of Skye, connected to Scotland's northwest coast by bridge, is known for its rugged landscapes, picturesque fishing villages and medieval castles. The largest island in the Inner Hebrides archipelago, it has an indented coastline of peninsulas and narrow lochs, radiating out from a mountainous interior. The Isle of Skye is also a great destination for wildlife watching with the White Tailed Sea Eagle at the top of bird watchers lists. Visitors can also enjoy spotting otters, seals, whales, dolphins, red deer, as well as the famous domesticated Highland Coos, or cows, with their distinctive long, shaggy, orange-brown fur. These iconic bovines were bred in the Scottish Highlands to be hardy, so that they could survive in Scotland's unpredictable and sometimes harsh climate. Now available as a poster print, canvas, metal sign, mini-canvas, notecard, or postcard, this original vintage-style illustration will look great on any wall. The poster would also make the perfect gift for anyone who appreciates vintage poster art, travel art, retro art, and original illustrations.
